This?unusual and artistic carved peach pit?ring from the Art Deco?(ca1930) era is a wonderful example of the craft! This unique ring features?an old hand-carved peach pit that rests in the center of a vintage sterling setting. The carved peach pit has a warm, rich brown color and matte surface that resembles wood. The carving itself is quite exceptional, including intricate detail depicting?a small Chinese?scene. Four robed figures are gathered beside a small tree,?with beautiful flower?blossoms in bloom above them.?They sit in front of an open entryway with paneled pillars and a slanted roof overhead.?Four prongs hold the carving in place, and the sterling setting is left simple and smooth. This one-of-a-kind ring is a?true work of art and would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The?ring has a finger size 6 but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The peach pit measures 7/8" tall, 5/8" wide, and 3/8" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring?is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the carved peach pit,?which is intact.
